National showcases and tournaments
Our Development Player League players travel to mandatory national events throughout the year. With DPL Nationals (if qualified), DPL Regionals and the Summit Showcase Tournament on their schedules, our teams can truly test themselves against the best players in the nation.
All about her
The DPL is an Elite National All-Girls League. The Mission of the DPL is to develop the player and empower the person in a purposeful and memorable environment.
Through superior experiences, players will be able to showcase their talent, discover collegiate opportunities and create community around the game.
DPL Summit
The DPL Summit tournament and showcase is an elite, annual cup competition for top U13-U19 female soccer teams, culminating in championship matches for the best in the league, earned through strong regular season and national event performance.






DPL Regionals
The DPL Regionals are high-level, competitive youth soccer events for U13-U19 girls within the broader Girls Academy (GA), serving as crucial qualifiers for the DPL Finals and offering significant player exposure for college and pro recruitment.






The Development Player League's mission (U13-U19 girls only) is to develop the player and empower the person in a purposeful and memorable environment, providing elite level competitive soccer.

Birth Years: 2013 (U13) - 2008/07 (U18/19)
US Soccer has mandated that for the 2026/2027 season, and going forwards, playing age groups will be determined based on school age year, rather than birth year. In other words, age groups are based on August 1 - July 31 of the birth year.
Training information

Training times are dependent on age groups, for example our younger players U13-U14 will train at 6.15-7.45pm and our senior players (U15-U19) will train at 7.45-9.15pm

All DPL teams train x3 times a week, with each session duration of 90 minutes

All DPL training sessions are held at our North Central location, GVTC Communications Sportsplex

Can I play for my School in the Development Player League
Yes, the DPL allows you to play Middle School and High School soccer.
What benefits do I get for participating in the DPL
Our players continually compete against elite level DPL teams and clubs during the regular season, testing their abilities and developing at high levels. They are also exposed to high level events during the regular season, including DPL Summit and DPL Regionals as mandatory.
Can I join a team if I have missed tryouts
Yes, we always offer every player an opportunity to train and be evaluated by our professional coaching staff.
