Competing at regional,
state and national levels
We offer multiple pathways to elite level soccer. Our boys compete in the MLS NEXT - Pioneer Division, while our girls compete in the DPL and the USCTX-RL. We also offer Select programs for both genders.
Birth years 2013 | U11 - 2005 | U19.
Texas Two is a male platform only independent second division league for MLS Next clubs in Texas that offers a high level competitive platform for U11-U19 boys.
Birth years 2012 | U13 - 2005 | U19.
The EA is a male only platform, composed of member clubs that represent elite competitive clubs in their market and have shown to be of the highest standard.

The DPL is a female only platform standards driven National League that encourages clubs to compete and grow, creating community around the game.

Bringing the MLS to San Antonio
The MLS NEXT Academy Division was named to highlight the expanded opportunities for clubs outside of the MLS ecosystem to join North America’s top youth soccer platform.
MLS NEXT’s goal is to strengthen the player development ecosystem, enabling more athletes to showcase their talents throughout the regular season and at MLS NEXT regional and national events.

Rosters are selected at tryouts (typically May each year), and players are signed on 12-month contracts. At these age groups, MLS NEXT record wins, losses, and ties with home and away games, including travel inside and outside of San Antonio.

Rosters are selected at tryouts (typically May each year), and players are signed on 12-month contracts. At these age groups MLS NEXT record wins, losses, and ties with no 50% play rule. Our Senior teams will be expected to enter national events, college showcase tournaments along with local tournaments.

Yes, you allowed to play both Middle School and High School soccer during the MLS NEXT season.
Will my team attend MLS NEXT national events?
Yes, we attend multiple national events throughout the season, including MLS NEXT Fest, MLS NEXT Flex as well as MLS NEXT Cup.
Will we have to travel out of state for regular season games?
On occasion yes, we have limited long distance traveling for our teams during the regular season, with one or two games out of state at a maximum, in state the furthest city we will travel to is Dallas.

Can I join a team after your try out process?
Yes, we are always looking for players that want to learn and develop their talent with us and we aim to provide anyone looking to play soccer, with a roster position on a team.
Are there opportunities for me to move up a level?
Yes, our players are always being evaluated. If your coach decides that you deserve an opportunity to train or play with a higher level team then the DOC for that program will make the final decision to potentially move you up or at the very least, allow you to train with a higher level team.
What is the maximum distance we would have to travel?
All games are played in Texas. The majority of games are locally played (dependent on Prime, Challenger or Alpha level), with occasional games being held in New Braunfels, Austin or Rio Grand Valley.
