Introducing a low-cost program that will provide an environment for every player to participate on a team, regardless of their interest or ability.
Our program provides a fun, creative and non-stressful place to develop not only soccer players, but responsible young men and women.
Using a curriculum developed and delivered by SA United's competitive program, players will be able to enhance their technical and tactical skills, while building fitness and socializing with friends.
Players will; have the chance to be part of a team and learn how to become an effective teammate, strive to do the best they can while always giving 100% effort, learn how to lead a healthy lifestyle, learn about all aspects of the game, including how to play under pressure and utilize space, learn about tactical decision making, and how to deal with the chaos and ever-changing moments that soccer presents, work from a proven and age appropriate curriculum.






PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Our Recreational program is open to everyone.
Age appropriate training led by volunteer parent managers / coaches.
Managers / coaches will follow the SA United competitive program curriculum that focuses on player development using the four pillars, Technical, Tactical, Physical and Social.
PROGRAM CONTENTS
Proof of age - Birth certificate required.
Included in the program:

All age groups include an SA United training shirt and AAYSA Insurance t-shirt

Support by SA United competitive program staff coaches and Directors

Play up requests only if approved by the Executive Director or Director of Coaching

Every team will have a parent volunteer for Team Manager to run the weekend games. Also acts as a communication liaison between the parents and the club

Our goal is to provide every player with a team to play on

Balanced teams to provide fair, meaningful and competitive games. This will mean teams will have varying levels of skill

All players play 50%, unless due to illness, injury or disciplinary reasons

When players register, they are placed on a team. Players can request to play with friends

SA United coaching staff will form all rec teams

Teams will be balanced so that we can provide a fun and competitive environment which will enhance player and team development
