WELCOME TO SA UNITED SOCCER CLUB. WE OFFER A COMPLETE PLAYER PATHWAY EXPERIENCE FOR ALL SOCCER PLAYERS FROM AGES 4 TO 19 YEARS OLD
We are THE premier grass roots standard in South Texas soccer. With a philosophy firmly based on development, tradition and our community, we are pushing the boundaries of soccer education.
SA United was formed in 2005 by ambitious young soccer coaches from the British Isles with one thing in mind, spread the love of the sport that so greatly impacted their lives, and the soccer club experience, to as many people as possible in the San Antonio area, do it the right way, and have fun doing it. Since then, the club has grown the right way.
We currently have more than 1,200+ members and have reached thousands of people, who still proudly associate with their club long after they have left. Some went on to play College soccer, some to successful professional careers at home in the U.S. and internationally, some are now back with the club in a coaching capacity. One thing most definitely remains with a graduate of SA United, a love for a sport that they can carry throughout the rest of their lives, a sense of camaraderie, an understanding of teamwork, and a confidence that they are able to succeed in the world.
SA United continue to offer opportunities for all athletes wanting to learn and play the beautiful game, wether that is playing in a non-competitive environment in our recreational soccer program or playing at the highest competitive level available, we have everything that you need. We are always looking for ways to add players to all of our programs so please, enjoy our site and learn more about our history, our philosophy and what opportunities await you.
Our own dedicated Sportsplex, sponsored by GVTC, houses 7 full sized 11v11 soccer fields and 4 Rising Stars (4v4) / 2 (7v7, 9v9) Academy training fields.
The Sportsplex has been established since 2005.

Our premier event allows teams to finish their season strongly in a fun and competitive tournament being played at the GVTC Communications Sportsplex, CE McAllister Complex and CE Blossom Complex.
The U16-U19 teams will participate in a showcase style tournament that will attract local college coaches.
All teams are guaranteed three games and awards will be provided to champions and finalists in each division. The tournament is designed for all levels of play and bracketed to ensure games are challenging, fun and competitive.

We are proud to be the most dedicated soccer club in the development of youth soccer players in the San Antonio area. We employ only the best technical trainers and role models, and set the highest expectations for player improvement from one season to the next.
We will never put team wins and losses ahead of the importance of technical development. Great technical development from a young age will prepare the player to explore their full potential. We take pride in aiding the development of two important qualities in developing youth, character and confidence. We consider it a massive privilege to be a part of your children's growth, and we want you as a family to enjoy the experience of being a part of the SA United family with us.
We provide all levels of competition necessary to achieve these goals. Our comprehensive play curriculum is designed to see a players development pathway through to completion, it can begin at the age of four and continue until they become an adult. Every coach is licensed and vetted to ensure they possess the right character, knowledge and skillset to impart the SA United way into every player.

From the very fundamentals to advanced team tactics and technique, the SA United Player Pathway guides and follows you through your soccer educational development.
Our Player Pathway aims to develop technical, intelligent, confident players whilst offering a holistic environment which encourages moral character and pursuit of personal goals.
From four years old to senior levels, we aim to help players achieve their goals of high school, college and professional soccer, whilst the ultimate goal being life-long participation in the beautiful game for each and every SA United player.

Q. Can we come out to the Sportsplex and see what the environment is like before registering?
A. Of course, we can arrange a free POE for your child and your family to experience our club.
Our Junior program focuses on our athletes learning to compete as a team, developing as an individual, enjoying the pursuit of excellence in a challenging environment.
Q. Entering into the competitive phase of soccer, what can we expect from the program?
A. We offer multiple levels of competitive play, with a club focus and philosophy on developing intelligent, skillful athletes.
Players moving into the Senior program begin to learn about our competition phase, while we develop them for successful high-school and college careers in sport and study.
Q. How do you help players with their college aspirations and recruitment?
A. With a dedicated program director, we provide each athlete with a guide and athlete profile, outlining a timeline to organize their goals and support them in the recruiting process.
Our Recreational program offers a low-cost, fun, creative and non-stressful environment, to not only develop soccer players, but for every player to participate on a team, regardless of their interest or ability.
Q. If my child really enjoys the program, are there any options for movement into the other club programs?
A. Yes of course. We actually have players who have excelled in the program and then progressed into our Academy and Junior programs to further their development.
Developing the very fundamentals of soccer, at the earliest time of a child's development, is crucial in their soccer education.
Q. What does your program offer my young child and why play so early?
A. Our program has a set curriculum based on ball mastery, and a fun challenging environment to instill a passion and love for the game.
